Our Fire Department currently have 2 major fundraisers which is our spring and fall tool booths, with the towns support we usually make in excess of $1500 on average.  Other fundraisers throughout the year include our texas mickey draw during santa clause parade, snowmobile sponsored run and snowmobile poker ride.

Annual Firefighter's Ball

Have you ever considered how important yourVolunteer Fire Department is? The men and women who are in this department not only give their time for meetings, fighting fires, and other incidents, they also give their time to take training so that they will be properly trained and up to date on all the lastest methods of fighting fires. Yet they do this with very little recognition. The only recognition they recieves comes at the Annual Firefighter's Ball. This event is an opportunity for our members to acknowledge members acheivements over the past year. A a hot meal is usually injoyed, the past few years it has been catered by the local ACW.  Also, two major awards are presented, one being the Firefighter Of The Year award which recognizes a member who has shown exemplary commitment to the department and is voted on by the entire membership. The second award is a scholarship presented in memory of a founding member and original cheif of the fire department, the late Cecil Spracklin
