Regular Meeting of the town Council of the Town of Cormack held on March 27, 2008.

Present:

Mayor W. Hewitt
Deputy Mayor A. Alexander
Councillor A. Chaffey
Councillor M. Rideout

Absent with regrets: Councillor C. Pelley

Also present: Town Clerk Manager C. Fry

Meeting called to order at 8:30 pm

Councillors were given copies of the 2007 Income Statement for the Bar account.

Randy Parsons - application to sever approximately 4.5 acres from farm lot.
Consideration involved review of the town's new municipal plan.
The proposal does not appear to comply with the town's regulations or the intent of the plan due to the size of severance. The town will require a location plan showing buildings and water/sewage systems, distances indicated from roads and boundaries.

Eric & Michelle Spears - to construct a single dwelling at 14 Veterans Drive.

Resolution 008-039: Alexander/Rideout
4 for, 0 opposed, carried
The application from Eric and Michelle Spears is approved subject to:
1. referral to the Department of Natural Resources, Agrifood division
2. receipt of approved water/sewage design by Government Services
3. compliance with the Town's development regulations and National Building Code.

Appreciation Dinner set for May 10th.
