PLAN A TRIP

Cormack Agricultural Heritage Project

We have begun the planning and development of the Town of Cormack's Agricultural Heritage Museum.

The Cormack Agricultural Heritage Museum will be a place to explore our unique history, examining early settlement life amidst the trials and tribulations of the post-WWII government initiative which brought veterans here to develop the farming potential of this area.

This project will celebrate and preserve the contributions of our forefathers, and provide encouragement and resources for the future development of agriculture in our community.

Currently, the coordinators of the project are focusing towards a visual component by collecting digital or original copies of photos, films and documents. Ideal additions would represent early livelihood, community events and/or the legacy of war veterans who first settled in Cormack.

The Cormack Heritage Project continues to welcome your heritage items for proud display in our future museum. Please consider loaning or donating items to this valuable project. We are also looking for interested parties to become involved in forming a Cormack Heritage Society. For more information on how you can contribute, call the Town Office @ 635-7025, or 635-7377, or email us atcormack.heritage@gmail.com.

Please note:
If you wish to donate a digital copy of your photos/film but are unable to drop by the museum, please contact the coordinator at 635-7377 between 10 - 3 weekdays.
(We are currently taking appointments for our portable office, which can come visit you in order to scan and/or collect any articles you wish to donate.)

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!
